Overview

Amerix Precious Metals Corporation (TSXV: APM; Frankfurt: NJGN) is exploring for gold at its 100% owned Limão Property located in Pará State, Brazil. Amerix has been active for over 10 years in Brazil which is a proven mining friendly country with enormous gold potential.

The Limão Property is situated in the prolific Tapajós Gold Province that is one of Brazil's foremost gold regions and the country's principal source of gold from the early 1970's to early 1990's. Historic and active gold production from the Tapajós Gold Province, mainly from artisanal, small-scale, placer and near surface mining operations, is estimated to be 30 million ounces of gold. Amerix has recently optioned the Serra Dourada exploration concessions that are positioned adjacent to and immediately west of the Limão Property, resulting in 18,000 hectares of prospective ground.

During 2012, Amerix conducted its first drilling programs at Limão which returned promising results. Two separate and distinct targets, called the Limão Pit and South Grid, have been drill tested in these initial diamond drill programs. At the Limão Pit, 16 shallow holes were completed with the best intercept being 53.85 g/t gold across 14.38 metres. This unique gold mineralization is hosted in undeformed syenitic host rocks occuring with extensive potassic alteration and disseminated pyrite. At the South Grid, located 1.6 kilometres south of the Limão Pit, 4 holes intersected narrow veins in sheered granitic rocks with the best intercept being 39.4 g/t gold over 0.5 metres.

Numerous gold geochemical anomalies have been outlined at the Limão Property and surface exploration at both the Limão and Serra Dourada concessions are continuing to develop new targets for future drilling. Additionally, Amerix holds a production royalty at the Ouro Roxo gold property where a local group has been alluvial mining on a small scale.

Amerix' objective is to create value for shareholders through the delineation of bedrock gold resources in this exciting area of Brazil.
